Summer Solstice Greek Pentathlon & Field Day: Part II: Opening Ceremonies

And now I present part II of our Summer Games!  Looking back through these pictures always reminds me of what an amazing community we have!  There was so much preparation and
behind-the-scenes work that went into making this event a success...and I think it far exceeded all of our hopes and expectations.  Once again, I am so grateful to my community for pulling it together.  This was a very special memory that will be etched into that forever place in our hearts.

We had several Grandparents as spectators: some who live here, some visiting from the lower 48.  It was quite special to include our Omas, Opas, Grandpas and other elders in our games.

One of our awesome dads collects the pin flags as the atheletes warm up and prepare for the first event.
