Angel Rocks

Yesterday buffaloheart *finally* had a whole day off! *JOY*! Everyone agreed that a day-trip was in order to celebrate our time *all* together, so we packed up our picnic lunch and headed out towards Angel Rocks...Here are several moments captured:

From M.:

LiTtLe*DrAgOn and Spider-dove, enJOYing quiet moments

From MaMaRoOt:
I love burls

A new 'beaver stick' for playing fetch

The Angel Rocks outcrop overlooking a beaver dam

Sand + Water + Rocks = *Delight*

A very sweet father-son moment

Spider-dove captured this snowy surprise as we headed up the trail towards the rocky outcrop

Spider-dove and buffaloheart taking in the view from the rocks

a pooped pup!

Tree people,
deciduous and evergreen alike,
stand supported...
supporting the Earth.
The winding river glistens
as Grandfather Sun peeks through clouds.
Earth dips
and rises,
drawing my eyes to her curves, her fullness.
Arms stretching wide,
I breathe deeply the sweet
and slightly musky
air.
I drink in the beauty of this place...
this place I call home.
